Modern life, is crazy. We live in a hectic, productivity obsessed, world that never really switches off.
A prominent psychologist recently discovered that we are exposed to more stimuli in one week than our ancient ancestors were exposed to in their entire lifetimes.
While some amount of stimulation is exciting, the overwhelming and unending nature of it resulting in us living in a near constant state of “fight or flight”, which is resulting in dysregulated nervous systems - and when our nervous systems are dysregulated, we can experience a variety of symptoms, including anxiety, insomnia, fatigue and chronic conditions.
